This Wairapa Riesling presents floral, citrus and tropical fruit flavours against a perfect balance of sweetness and acidity.
On the palate, stone fruit and spicy flavours predominate. The wine is complemented by a small trace of natural sweetness balanced by a clean, crisp acid finish. This off-dry style wine displays an attractive bouquet that will develop a rich, honey-like texture and toasty complexity with further bottle ageing.
Food Matches: Asian chicken or pork, sweet and sour dishes, trout or other oily fish with lemon or parsley butter, ham or pork with a honey glaze are all ideal matches with this wine. Tangy cheese will also work well.
